The High River Performing Arts Foundation (HRPAF) is poised to transform downtown High River, Alberta, with "The Venue," a pioneering multi-purpose creative and performing arts hub. This project stands as a beacon of cultural revitalization and economic rejuvenation, designed to cater to the artistic and community needs of people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. By establishing a purpose-built facility, HRPAF aims to enrich the cultural fabric of the region, drawing visitors and residents alike into a dynamic space of creativity and connection.

High River is an a very underserved market with a high interest in performing arts.

The Venue Feasibility Study 2022

We would like to take this opportunity as a settler organization to acknowledge the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Good Stoney First Nations. We would also like to acknowledge the Otipemisiwak Government of the Metis District 1.
